Cubs are open to boys and girls aged between 9 – 11 years. Cubs are the next stage of a young person’s journey in scouts. We take on a bit more responsibilities by looking after ourselves and each other. We challenge ourselves that bit greater.
We do everything that scouts do but within our capability. We have that bit more freedom than beavers. We learn what our village and surrounding areas have to offer by exploring woods climbing mountains and jumping in rivers. A cub group is called a pack. Our pack is divided into groups called sixes. Each six has a person in charge called a sixer and an assistant leader called a seconder. Even though we are not always a leader we still have a job to perform.
